This is good. McCain is really funny as he lampoons Senator Obama. McCain's humor and cleverness and basic decency shines through.
I really like John McCain. I want McCain to be elected, not just because I think Obama is wrong for America and not just because I prefer McCain's policies, but because I think McCain is a good person. I respect and look up to John McCain. I think McCain is an admirable, honest, principled, thoughtful person who has a deep love for his country and a commitment to do the right thing.
Anyone who can read the polls can see that unless something unexpected happens McCain will not be elected President, so at this point I am not expecting a McCain victory and that makes me a little sad. I think if McCain should get elected, we would be blessed to have him as our President. I think he has those qualities, much like Reagan, that make for a great leader. I wish more people saw it that way.

I first discovered John McCain during the Clinton years. It seemed to me that especially on foreign policy, he would be the one on television with something sensible, coherent and intelligent to say about whatever issue that popped up. I supported John McCain in 2000 and I still believe that the U.S. and the world would have been much better off if he had been our President for the last 8 years. I think John McCain is an honorable man and I trust him. I don't trust Barack Obama.

They sure missed civics class when socialism was being discussed and reviewed!I enjoy your blog, thank you for the time you spend on it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not in agreement with you, but I can see you've made up your mind, so I'll not try to change it. I enjoy your blog, nevertheless. From a psychological perspective, it's curious to me that given the exact same information,intelligent people come up with so many different and often completely opposing conclusions.

I am all for John McCain and Sarah Palin. Every Wed night I work the phone banks and on Saturdays I walk precincts with my husband. A good friend of mine taught me to “never give up before you get your miracle.”
ReplyDeleteI absolutely believe that we can win this election. We don’t have to win by a landslide, just a point or two.
The first step towards that miracle is to turn off the boob tube and go visit your local headquarters. We need your boots on the ground, your ear on that phone or your help assembling yards signs and information packs.
Perhaps most of all we need to come together to share experience, strength, hope and encouragement. Together we can win.
This is the John McCain we should have been seeing throughout this election. No, he can't be a continual jokester, but showing that affability would have a been a plus and would have undercut Obama's whole 'temperament' argument. McCain's campaign screwed up on that one.
