Veteran state Senator. Douglas Henry has been taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for tests. The 85-year-old Nashville Democrat began to experience high
blood pressure and felt dizzy in a caucus meeting after the Senate
floor session ended Tuesday. Senator Henry is probably my favorite Democrat politician. Everyone likes Senator Henry. He is a kind, gentlemanly person, fiscally conservative, rational, knowledgeable and loves this State. I salute him for his many years of public service and wish him well.
