When Representative Todd was arrested near Hillsboro Village for drunk driving in October 2011, he had a loaded gun between the console and the drivers seat of his car. This event had drawn attention because Todd was the sponsor of the bill that allows gun permit holders to carry guns into establishments that sell alcohol. I am not going to repost it and think he should have been allowed to leave the courthouse in peace, but if you want to see the video, it is there.
If Representative Todd is a good legislator and this was the only time anything like this has happened, this one mistake should not disqualify him from office. I wish Representative Todd all this best.
