Tennessee can take lead in Medicaid reform
The people of Tennessee received some welcome news this week when Gov.
Bill Haslam announced that he would not pursue efforts to expand
Medicaid. This is a fiscally responsible decision, and he should be
congratulated for it.

On the heels of his announcement, Gov. Haslam now has the opportunity to
become a leader in organizing other governors to push for real Medicaid
