Tennesseans
really like Gov. Bill Haslam. Vandy's May poll shows a 63 percent
approval. Sen. Lamar Alexander also polls well with a 53 percent
approval. Both Republicans are up for re-election state-wide in 2014. Is
either likely to be "primary-ed" by a more conservative Tea Party

Now who is surprised about this poll. A group of 100% liberals from Vanderbilt. Liking Alexander would be about right. Tea party conservatives do not like Alexander. Let me repeat, they do not like him at all. http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/05/senator-lamar-alexander-an-obama-waterboy/

I suggest we create a brand-new American school, as different from today’s schoolhouse as the telegraph was from the Pony Express. “Such a school,” he continues, “would probably start with babies and go through the eighth grade. Every child would have a team of teachers that would stay with that child until graduation.”

Lamar! is viscerally reviled by the Conservative base of the party. I don't know ANY Conservative who approves of him. The fact that he is the 6th most liberal Republican Senator is all the proof one needs that he is out of step with Tennessee. It's time we elected a new and Conservative Senator.
ReplyDelete...and to quote Lamar! from his book, "Two terms and OUT !" No THIRD term for this guy.
