Remember when there were young men who would push your grocery cart to your car for you and put the groceries in the trunk? Remember when you went to a service station and someone pumped the gas and checked the air in your tires and washed your windshield? Those were good starter jobs for students and young people. They didn't pay enough to raise a family on, but they were good first jobs. When the minimum wage becomes greater than the value of the job, the job goes away.
