Senator Jack Johnson, who is chairman of the Tennessee state Senate Commerce and
Labor Committee, tells TNReport that he is unequivocally averse to a
new "local hire" charter amendment passed by Nashville voters on Aug. 6. Thankfully, we may be saved from becoming the San Francisco of the South by the State legislature. Thank God for men like Senator Johnson.
